The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement function, which reports into the Business Technology organization is looking for an experienced strategic sourcing specialist.  The role primarily supports purchases within the Technology category team, working across business functions and regions.

Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Technology (Internal)

Location: Bengaluru (Onsite)

Reports to the Technology Category Manager

 

What You'll Do

  • Manage, review, and negotiate a portfolio of assigned contracts with focus on software to deliver savings and mitigate contractual risk.

  • Assist with professional/consulting services and contingent labor contracts as needed

  • Apply strategic sourcing best practices and category insights to negotiating and executing contracts

  • Use standard contracting templates and language to ensure compliance to company standards

  • Build and maintain relationships with a range of business requesters/stakeholders across functions and regions

  • Provide input and execute to the category strategy and plans

  • Identify and implement new opportunities for cost reduction, cost avoidance and supplier-driven value creation

  • Manage assigned supplier relationships and risks  

  • Assist in conduct sourcing events (RFXs) to determine optimal suppliers and solutions with business stakeholders

  • Support local and regional procurement requests while working closely with category managers and stakeholders globally

  • Contribute to Procurement team projects and improvement initiatives.
