The Story
Auto Club Enterprises (ACE) is a group of AAA clubs serving more than 18 million members in 22 states. In 2021, the insurer knew it needed to take steps to consolidate the multiple systems it ran its business on. These systems had been accumulated over the years due to affiliations and acquisitions of other organizations. ACE, which was an on-premises InsuranceSuite customer, decided to expand its relationship with Guidewire and migrate to the cloud to help the insurer simplify and standardize its platforms and bring all the states it serves onto one modern, cloud-based system.
The move to InsuranceSuite on Guidewire Cloud was all about efficiency. It only took ACE 15 months to complete the migration.
“Implementation went relatively smoothly,” noted Garrett Anderson, VP of Information Systems. “There was a lot of preparation, several practice dry runs, and when we did the production cutover, I was waiting for the shoe to drop. As large and complex as it was, you couldn’t have asked for it to be much better.”
There was an immediate response to the new platform.
