New Roles for Guidewire Ireland Senior Management

Vice President, Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ Development for Dan Lonborg, and Country Manager for Niall Lalor

DUBLIN Ireland , February 19, 2018

Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a global provider of software products to the general insurance industry, today announced two key promotions. Niall Lalor has been appointed as Country Manager Ireland, in addition to his existing role as Practice Director for the Global Services Centre. Dan Lonborg has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ Development. This is the first VP appointment for Guidewire in Ireland.

Dan Lonborg’s appointment as Vice President, Guidewire InsuranceSuite Development involves continued global responsibility for the development teams building InsuranceSuite (Guidewire’s core system suite), and non-US product content. Dan first joined Guidewire’s head office in California as a developer in 2002 focusing on Guidewire ClaimCenter™, the company’s first product. Moving to Dublin, Dan headed up the launch of Guidewire’s Dublin development centre in 2012, soon also taking on responsibility for all content development worldwide, including Japan- and Toronto-based content teams. Dan was pivotal in launching the Kraków development centre in 2016.

Following a period of considerable growth, the Dublin office is now the largest Guidewire office outside of the United States. As Country Manager, Niall is operations coordinator, external representative, and advocate for the Dublin office. He joined Guidewire in 2011 as its first Irish employee, and was responsible for establishing a remote Guidewire Professional Services team, which works on distributed customer implementations across the globe.
