Guidewire Promotes Steven Sherry to SVP Worldwide Sales

Proven Americas Sales Leader gains responsibility for global growth

FOSTER CITY Calif. and EDINA Minn. , March 15, 2016

Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to Property/Casualty insurers today announced that it has promoted Steven Sherry to the position of senior vice president, Worldwide Sales. Steve will now lead Guidewire’s worldwide sales, sales operations, customer relationship management, and partner alliances organizations. This team is focused on growing Guidewire’s global business while building and maintaining deep relationships with Property and Casualty insurers.

Steve has been instrumental in leading Guidewire’s Americas Sales team to unprecedented success over the past decade. As Group Vice President - Americas Sales, he managed sales activities throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Steve has a successful track record of enterprise application sales management at large enterprise software companies. Prior to his role at Guidewire, he served as Area Vice President for Oracle Corporation where over a nine year period he established an exceptional track record of business growth and team leadership. Prior to Oracle, Steve served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Siemens Corporation where he ran sales for their $350 million software division. Steve has a B.S. in Marketing and Business from Arizona State University and is based in Guidewire’s Minnesota office.
