As the first insurer in the UK to offer multicar insurance and one of the largest auto insurance providers in the UK, Admiral Group has been called to propel this winning position into the future by taking continuous steps to modernize its technology platform.
As part of its ongoing transformation program, Admiral Group leveraged the digital capabilities from Guidewire for its Personal Motor line of business across all four core brands: Admiral, elephant.co.uk, Diamond, and Bell. The company, which already enjoys the benefits of Guidewire’s policy administration and billing system products, will continually innovate and develop insurance products across all brands and distribution channels.
Working with Guidewire, the company sought improvements in internal and external operations. These efforts include new pricing and customer efficiencies through a new driver lookup service and better use of the quotation data already collected, shorter training time due to more intuitive systems and shared screens between departments, and on-screen scripting to improve consistency of customer interactions.
The results speak for themselves: Admiral Group can now add and deliver new products more quickly, deliver omnichannel tailored offerings to further enhance customer service, and deliver ease-of-use self-service capabilities to policyholders and producers.
