GuideOne Insurance Deploys Guidewire Solution for Underwriting Policy Administration and Standards-Based Templates

WEST DES MOINES Iowa and FOSTER CITY , May 12, 2015

GuideOne Insurance (GuideOne), a leading national insurer of churches, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), a provider of software products to Property/Casualty (P/C) insurers, today announced that GuideOne has successfully deployed Guidewire PolicyCenter® as its new underwriting and policy administration solution. GuideOne also deployed Rating Management, Client Data Management, and is the first Guidewire customer to deploy Standard-based Templates. GuideOne had previously deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter® successfully in 2013. Guidewire PartnerConnect™ Consulting member, PwC US, led the implementation, in close collaboration with GuideOne and Guidewire.

Following the successful deployment of ClaimCenter in 2013, GuideOne selected PolicyCenter to modernize its policy administration system to support its aggressive growth plans for 2015 and beyond. The project is being implemented in phased approach. The pilot phase is currently being implemented for workers’ compensation in four states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia and Missouri, with 11 additional states to be deployed by the end of April. Following workers’ compensation, PolicyCenter will be implemented in Commercial Package Policy and umbrella, and concluding with commercial auto. GuideOne leveraged Standards-based Templates to accelerate their product deployment and gain control over their standards-based lines of business.
