Guidewire Software, a leading provider of flexible core systems to property/casualty insurers, today announced that the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), a provincial Crown corporation and sole provider of universal compulsory auto insurance in BC, has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new end-to-end claims management system. ClaimCenter will help ICBC manage approximately 700,000 claims annually through its 24x7 Claims Contact Centre, its province-wide network of 38 claims centres, and through its various service providers across the province.

Guidewire ClaimCenter will allow ICBC to increase the quality of communication with its customers, capture higher quality claim information reducing the need for multiple conversations, and to increase the transparency in the claim handling process.
