New Mexico Mutual Group

New Mexico Mutual Group was created to provide stability to the workers' compensation market by offering coverage at a fair price and providing the best possible care to injured workers. New Mexico Mutual is dedicated to providing access to quality, cost-effective workers' compensation insurance and services for customers in the state.

After a thorough evaluation of available claims systems, New Mexico Mutual selected Guidewire ClaimCenter due to its comprehensive functionality, best-in-class technology, and proven track record in insurance carrier environments. In January 2006, New Mexico Mutual fully deployed ClaimCenter as its new claims system. This following a ten-month implmentation project that deployed ClaimCenter two months ahead of schedule. ClaimCenter supports the insurer's entire claims organization and all phases of the claim process. ClaimCenter is in use by 60 New Mexico Mutual employees, processing 5,000-6,000 claims annually.

Following a successful Guidewire ClaimCenter® project, New Mexico Mutual selected Guidewire BillingCenter (May 2007) as its new billing system. BillingCenter will manage the end-to-end billing process from receipt of initial billing instruction through renewal/cancellation. The system was selected for its comprehensive functionality, web-based technology, and for its ease of use and maintenance. Guidewire's insurance expertise and implementation successes also factored into New Mexico Mutual's selection decision. BillingCenter will replace the carrier's legacy billing system.
